Such concerns have been extant since the beginning of America , especially the conflict between the so-called `blacks ' and `whites . Although the concept of race is slowly losing its meaning in the US , what with the continuing immigration of mixed races to this once predominantly Caucasian country , there is still an undercurrent of bigotry which transpires in almost all aspects of society which still

puts more weight on the color of one 's skin
The movie Crash ' has a plot which deals with multiple characters and the theme of Racism . The characters are from varied racial and cultural backgrounds , and with each individual , there are certain stereotypes that the viewer would initially associate , but such labels will eventually disappear as the story progresses
`Color ' in this sense can be related to race or ethnic background `Contrast ' on the other hand could be defined as comparing or showing the difference of one against another .
