Book Review : Art of War

Introduction The Art of War , by Sun Tzu is book on philosophy of war yet it appeals me in the sense there should a proper way of doing many things especially in war . Since war connotes contending or warring parties , I could only sense the book to be very useful in the world of business if one would like to see the same world with many warring parties and where body has an objective

of profits which is the equivalent of victory in war The book is authored by Sun Tzu who was a Chinese general who lived in China in the 6th century BC , and therefore a contemporary Confucius , the philosopher . The author was arguing that political intervention in wars was to be avoided and he particularly referred to some of the mistakes that Hitler made during the war to understand . In relation for the need to know the enemy , the author takes from Sun Tzu ' emphasis on the important role that organization plays in any army

My own experiences and examples about the content of the theme of knowing the enemy reminds me of its application in business organization . As to how I think they may connect to my situation may be appreciated by the fact...
