Introduction

The name of the article is Black , White , Other , and its author is Jonathan Marks . It explains that human have mainly been classified or grouped by use of race criteria . However this article further comment that this classification based on race is used by people who in actual meaning want to categorize humans into different cultural groups

Therefore , two major confusing methods are used in categorizing humans either biological or

cultural entities . Categorizing humans into races is a biological factor , whereby race is mostly a hereditary factor However , that factor of racial heredity is not an all purely biological An individual may be categorized to be from a black race , but that does not imply that he has biological elements similar to those of another from the same black race ! Historically , some formulae have been used to differentiate between races . Nuremburg laws (1930s German state ) argued anyone with one-eighth and above Jewish ancestry was a Jew . Other used the same to identify a Negro (The person with one-eighth and above of black ancestry ) - Such inaccurate formulae led to ambiguity because humans always vary in terms of colors , shapes , sizes , forms and more widely , they vary in populations
