Results of both of the study indicate that there were no significant anesthetic efficacy difference between 4 articain and 2 lidocaine Either of these anesthetics can be used and expect the same effectiveness . It is noted though that 4 articaine is better based on the anesthetic effect duration and latency

Though the efficacy of the 4 articain and 2 lidocaine are same in level , further studies can be done to determine the cause of paraesthesia that was seen in the two of the patients in excluded in the study due to articain References
