In 31 BC Marc Antony lost to Octavian in Battle of Actium because of the misstep pointing to Cleopatra . Cleopatra tried to persuade Octavian to support her offspring to progression of authority but she was unsuccessful to make a deal . Unfortunately , luck was twisted against them . After the defeat of Marc Antony to Octavian and lost all his support he committed suicide and die in the arm of his beautiful wife Cleopatra . Since all of the Roman forces go against Cleopatra she decided to cut off her life by poisoning herself with the use of snake and died in admiration and was the very last Pharaoh of Egypt
