The Book of Job Prophecy in the Bible - what exactly is it ? A review of the Bible indicates that it consists of at least four types of information . . On the surface , the book depicts a wager between God and Satan , but there is much interesting and valuable information hidden beneath the surface of the book . During the story , Job lost everything - his family , his servants his possessions , everything . At the end of the scenario , he was rewarded for his steadfast faith by getting back everything he lost and more . One could wonder if those `on the other side ' - his lost family and servants - were privy to the ongoing drama
