Currently , several schools are claiming that their method of teaching is the best way of educating children . Others are even claiming scientific ways of inculcating knowledge . Due to these several and sometimes conflicting claims and methods , questions on what is the best way of educating a child are often asked by parents as well as the experts in the field of education

The knowledge and character of a child depends largely on the type of education accorded to him while growing up . As children grows , their knowledge and education depends on what they observe everyday . Children being curious as they are , usually learn from what they hear and see in their surroundings . By making them hear and see good things , they will learn worthy knowledge and eventually develop a valuable attitude towards themselves and others

Since parents are considered the first teachers and role models of their children , parents have a lot to do in their development . They must educate their children the best possible way in for the latter to develop a good and sound character towards life

The best way to educate a child is by setting a good example for them Parents must instill them with positive informations and values . By patiently giving good examplesin what they see and hear , they will gradually absorb and accumulate the knowledge and eventually a good and positive character would instilled on them

Parents must also develop the responsiveness or receptivity of their children , as responsiveness is the corner stone of learning . Not only is receptivity be learned and taught through examples , but it can be developed as well by frequently engaging children in stimulating activities . Development of receptivity can be further driven by nicely rewarding them with affection and praise when they show indication of being receptive (Buddha 's Light , n .d . Through the constant employment of good examples , a child will learn to respect and becomes more considerate to others . They will also be able to appreciate the things around them and develop an attitude that enables them to overcome any situations or tasks

In for a child to acquire the immense benefits of good education parents must always attempt to exhibit , among other attitudes gratitude , respect for life , and industriousness in to teach them the pleasure and value of work

Conclusion

The knowledge that parents inculcate to their children will greatly affect the latters knowledge and outlook in life as they grow . By setting good examples , their children will develop receptivity , good manners , industriousness , gratitude , respect to life and stable personality . Parents must also see to it that they deal lifes problems in an affirmative way , otherwise their children will follow and eventually adopt what they see and hear
