The parents who should be the source for children 's early development of intelligence and value are usually busy and leave children under the care of the television . Although there are many programs that promote Christian values , kindness , love and respect for others , studies also showed that there are more programs that are designed for young viewers that do not show respect they need to give others especially adults

I strongly believe that external influences have a big impact on anyone 's religious values and beliefs . If adults ' perceptions of religion can easily change through the media , it is , therefore , easier for children . The environment and the people they get associated with can have the strongest effects on the foundation of their values
