Our parents have molded us to what we have become until the day that we attain our independence from them . Surely we have grown a lot we have moved on to college , built our own families and have children of our own . But one thing that matters most during our middle ages is the thought that haunts us , who will take care of my aging parent Surely , a child doesn

't want to let their parents suffer old age unattended however as the so called sandwich generations it is sometimes beyond our means to provide for our family and our parents Their retirement savings may not be even enough to cost for a retirement package suitable to take care of their needs . But before we even attempt to discuss retirement and aging with our parents , let us first take a look at different warning signs of aging (1 ) poor grooming and hygiene (2 ) loss of appetite (3 ) spoiled and outdated foods in their refrigerators (4 ) diminished driving skills , and (5 ) loss of interest in their usual activities . It is better to discuss this with our parents before we even attempt to decide for them . Sometimes our parents are too sensitive regarding the issues of money and aging . It is with our approach that our parents can understand that we want the best for them
