The first roadblock can be an issue in the long run . The very alignment of BI with the organizational strategy is quite dependent with the very professionalism of the organization to identity the requirement of such strategy . A change in the organizations hierarchy and management is the key element for fetching the right decision at all

times . Any deviation in the management decision would create ripples all over ad the ultimate objective of the BI is sacrificed in the log run

The second roadblock with regard to the organizational cultures to be opened towards change is of the biggest roadblocks in the process . Often organizations may have diverse views towards various cultures in different nations and often fail to understand the very critical aspects for success . It may ignore several cultural factors like customer gender , nationality , religion towards the business objectives . The organizations aim to make profit would be of large focus than these aspects which may ultimately reduce the importance of BI applications

The focus of the organization towards technology and its diverse affects may balance out in the long run . Their faith from the technology would take diverse turns and the importance of BI can be reduced considerably in decision making , thus making them less dependent on BI systems
