Life on the planet is grossly marked by human interactions deeply entrenched in beliefs and values . Some of the peculiar I have seen in the community I reside do well attest to this fact . More than , the individual life is sharpened by primary by genetic factors and ultimately by environmental factors . These factors are expressed in cultural differences and similarities . This relates to how people perceive situations , and interprets events surrounding them

I have realized that culture is the way of life , and cannot be

divorced by the lifestyle of people . It determines the shape of families , the organizational structure that exist in such , the roles in family members , social expectations in the midst of community members and the intervention appropriate for any mismatch and also for excellent contribution to community activities . It determines the schema an individual like me use to cope with humans , and tolerate them for the purpose of existence

Cultural beliefs have an underlying impact on home training . This has seriously impacted my way of life . There are number of things my parents taught me that are socially acceptable . There are also other that need warrant modification for its acceptance among my colleagues in the larger community . This has had an effect : it made me an active member of the society . I had to synthesize behavioral patterns from the outcome of events and circumstance that I face on a daily basis . It has indeed been worthwhile , as the experience has been enriching

I have also seen there exists differences in this culture among different class of people who have come a long form different family backgrounds , and cultural tents to corporate in harmony to work together in organizations . Many of my colleagues at work do not share my origin but we have been able to tolerate each other simply because we appreciate our differences . These differences are really source of enrichment to all aspects of our work in the office it brings with it the flavor of diversity and the aroma of specialization

It also creates a credible avenue to foster relations with people , to know them better . This knowledge has made it easy for me to understand the culture of others , and imbibe some of their existing traits that are compatible with my nature and character . Seeing differences has reduced the monotony of same culture and same things all over again . The dull nature of getting used to others around you has significantly reduced as there are many things to learn . I look forward to seeing my colleagues everyday hoping to pick another value from among those that impact my life positively
