The code of conduct protects the interests of the public rather than those of IEEC members by rejecting bribery , seeking criticism of their technical work , acknowledging and correcting errors and giving credit properly according to the contribution of other persons . It talks

of avoiding injuring other persons , property owned to them , discriminating against race and any malicious action on them

The code of conduct is specific because it talks of assisting colleagues and co- workers in their professional development and to also support them to follow this code of conduct

It is comprehensive because it largely talks of the other persons outside the IEEE and holds accountability to their interests

How enforceable is this code ? How could it be made more enforceable

This code is enforceable because it talks of treating all persons the same even if they are from different races , gender , disability , age religion and national origin . However , it can be made more enforceable by including the academic qualifications needed for one to be a member...
