Art Appreciation

When I define art this thing comes in my mind , art is an expression of emotion . That 's why I will say and most people say that art is anything that expresses one 's feelings . Particularly most people express their feelings through visual works (i .e . paintings , music , and etc . One uniqueness of art is that one can 't say that this is wrong or this is right . Merely no one can question someone 's expression and there is no such thing as right emotion either

Many great painters like Leonardo de Vinci

were known to have great works and contribution in the field of arts . His work Monalisa really amazed and even gives every appreciator a chance to come up with questions like who really is Monalisa . See , that 's the uniqueness of art . If an artist is very expressive through works , he can be like Leonardo

One painting I saw was the portrait of a sunflower . Commonly seen and even grew in grasslands . Many speculations come up into my mind . I even questioned why the painter paints such thing . Why not some other flowers ? Why sunflower

As I look at it closely I notice the combination of colors . It looks like pale , sad , dying and in the after-struggle stage . When I look at it more even I feel the loneliness of the painter . Well , he 's amazing , he captured my attention . The painting even portray not just what plants undergone but what life is all about full of questions and mysteries The sunflower looks as it undergone struggles the roughness of nature If you try to look at a real sunflower who undergone a heavy rain and after all it 's firm stand it looks like tired but thankful and still really has life

The painting of the sunflower looks as if it is alone in the wilderness . I noticed the dark colors behind it . It is as if the plant is alone in the dark and only a spill of light recognized it and appreciated its beauty . It looks like a person who is in the rain , tired and when your at the nearer distant he smile and says I 'm ok

In similar with me , the painter also is a loner , he does not recognize loneliness as lonely because loneliness is part of the loner 's happiness . Sometimes he even isolates himself just to be alone . Most loners are imaginative . By just watching closely to what is happening to nature he can create many ideas . And most loners also are nature lover It is their common hang out place . Try imagining yourself alone looking at the sunset under the shed of a tree . Several feeling will wrap you up . Mostly when we are alone we feel and think better things . We will even know at that time who we really are
