In the field of visual arts , two names reign , Tim Hawkinson and Ana Hamilton . Tim Hawkinson and Ana Hamilton are known for being an avant-garde in visual arts and specifically in sculpture . Tim Hawkinson graduated from San Jose University and finally obtained his Masters in Fine Arts in University of California in 1989 . Ana Hamilton , on the other hand , was trained in textile design at the University of Kansas Hamilton also obtained her Masters in Fine Arts from Yale University of Arts . In 1960 , Tim Hawkinson was born in San Francisco California but lives in Los Angeles . Thereafter , Hawkinson devoted his life in making arts which are made of different materials . He also had various exhibits where he made his works available in public view . Among his admired works of art are Uberorgan and Pentecost . The Uberorgan is a self-playing walk-in organ made of twelve-bus sized biomorphic balloons ' Music has been incorporated in the art because each balloons has also its own horns that is tuned to a different note in an octave .
