Introduction

Aristotle was born at around 384 B .C near the modern day Thessaloniki city where he was educated as a member of aristocracy till he was eighteen years when he went to Athens to continue with his education Aristotle was one of the greatest Greek Philosophers who was a student of Plato and the teacher to Alexander the great . He was well informed in many areas including Government , Biology , poetry . Zoology , Physics politics and many other disciplines . Some of his observations and discoveries were proved to be

true in the 19th century and for that he was credited for his work . His philosophical and theological thinking influenced tradition Jewish and Islam during the Middle Ages and has continued to influence other religions like the Roman Catholic Orthodox . Aristotle introduced democracy in which he was trying to describe freedom and rights of all people . The freedom of expression , of choosing a leader and also equal representation of both the majority and the minority rights was also postulated by Aristotle . The citizens of a particular region choose a person to represent them in a house where decisions of the country are made . During the ancient times at around the time or Aristotle women and slaves were not involved in the decision making process like the modern democracies where everyone so long as they are grown ups have the right to vote
