Of all the scientific philosophers and mathematicians , Aristotle started it all With his genius mind together with his observant characteristic , he was the first man to explain how all aspects in the universe worked In 384 B .C , Aristotle was born in Stagira , located on the

north coast of the Aegean Sea . He was one of the brightest students of Plato and was able to acknowledge all the thoughts and the legacy of Plato 's teachings . However , Aristotle was not encourage and did not really accept Plato 's thought of reality . Plato stressed out that the primary reality can be explained through the use of mathematics and the pure knowledge of ideas and forms rather than purely sensory observations of things . Aristotle , on the other hand , believed that reality can be understood through observation . Fortunately , they are both correct in the sense that both mathematics and observation are use to explain various phenomenon of the natural and physical world .
