The problem of piracy has arisen because of rapid increase in technology and has come into focus due to major losses by copyright companies . New techniques of printing , recording and fixation of

Piracy is an illegal and criminal activity leading towards imprisonment or penalty or both The urge to make quick money supplemented by the weakness in laws and policies of the system . Either the punishment is too meager compared to the benefits .Now the major countries have decided on creating stringent laws for piracy . New laws have been created in U .S , France , and India The Maharashtra government (India ) had recently extended the stringent provisions of the Maharashtra Prevention of Dangerous Activities Act to piracy , which denies offenders bail for the first three months .
