Stem Cell Research Due to the growth of science and technology , there have been many debates in regards to practices that have risen . One of these practices includes stem cell research , which is the act of taking human cells and developing them into any of the 220 cells found in the human body including brain and blood cells . While scientists believe that stem cell research can lead to curing diseases and replacing sick and damaged cells in patients , pro-life activists feel that there is no morality in doing stem cell research , as

these cells come from aborted embryos . This issue is important as it is a huge step for the scientific community , as well as for the medical community we have come to an stage where incurable diseases might no longer stand a fighting chance . The status of this issue is that while the science community is shunting aside any criticism regarding stem cell research , there are still the groups that are openly protesting it . Although stem cell research is important , it seems that the issue concerning stem cell research may not be resolved because of the logical , ethical , and emotional fallacies used by each side when reporting supporting evidence
The position of the scientific community is that they have found a way that may be able to cure people of incurable diseases . Stem cell research is just proof of how far science and technology have gotten together , and scientists are eager to show what good use stem cell research...
