The first task establishes the importance of use of assets like Property Plant and Equipment , Intangibles other than goodwill , and the elements of Revenue into the activities of the company along with impact on its financial performance . The Task II analysis the liquidity position of the company as well as its working capital position with the help of ratio analysis studies . Task III is dedicated to study of features and findings of report on Accounting

and Sustainability issued in December 2007 . It also the analyses the contribution of Arriva Plc in comparison with the contribution to the cause by Associated British Foods Plc . as per their annual reports for 2007

The importance of PPE in the business of Arriva can be gauged from the nature of company 's business . The company is in transport business of providing bus , train , commuter coach , water bus and airport related bus services . Most of these services are provided in 12 European countries So PPE is the integral part of operations of Arriva . PPE that contains fleets of 15000 buses and 500 train sets as annual report 2007 (page 10 is the largest group of assets responsible for operating activities of Arriva Plc .
