This article deals with the working experiences of supervisors in their workplace . It also discusses the roles and duties of supervisors

The subjects of this article /study are the Canadians working as supervisors , or with supervisory duties . They came from different sectors , mostly males . There are some who are university graduates there are also those from the management sectors and some came from certified professional sectors . The study was conducted over a six year period . During

this time frame , these workers with supervisory roles were observed through their interactions with one another and with their co-workers as well . They also study the range of changes , extent and repeated incidents of these peoples ' financial and work situations

The study was conducted using secondary analysis devised from the Survey of Labor and Income Dynamics . This method is the survey conducted by Statistics Canada , using multivariate log-linear modeling and through percentage table for further assessment

At the research proper , researchers examine the four aspects of supervisory roles individually , as experienced by Canadian workers . This is important since it was found out that most job title does not really indicate the actual roles and duties of the employee in the given position or job title . After this , the four aspects of supervisory experience were then combined into a single supervisory duty experience level to recognize and at the same time differentiate the broad levels of experiences supervisory workers usually went through .
