The issue of cloning has in the recent years sparked a heated public debate

Cloning is wrong as raises serious moral and scientific questions

A ) Cloning is likely to lead to immense medical risks

Close to 20 of cloned animals died within three months

The existing attempts have been medical failures

Cloned animals barely survive

Although technology is still young past efforts have not been successful

Scientists will reproduce individuals

Cloning does not produce exact copies

It will increase insensitivity amongst humans

Though it eliminates the burden of grieving , it cannot full replace dead humans

Cloning is likely to diminish genetic variability and put a stop to natural evolution

Producing similar plants or animals makes them susceptible to diseases

Affect natural evolution of species and hence they do not upgrade or develop

Can lead to the elimination of certain species with undesirable traits

Although it can improve certain specie , it can introduce undesirable traits

Indeed as science advances , it has become more controversial

Cloning should be regulated due to the possible medical and ethical ramifications
