The economic systems were characterized by private ownership of properties , competition between companies and individuals for their own economic gain , free market systems which determine the prices of the commodities . This premise is based on ideas of separating business activities from state . Capitalist have believes in markets that they function efficiently and they are supposed to be allowed to function without any interference . The role of the government on the other hand is to regulate the interests of capitalists . Private capitalists have a guaranteed market for their produced and are not subject to competition in the market
The global confrontation several decades ago between the West and the last ended with liberal paradigm . The Western economic and political concepts were so much pervasive which resulted to conflicts . The supporters of globalization argue that free markets are essential and are capable of solving out the problems that are facing the world today On the other hand the non-supporters of globalization see the source of much injustice and the cause of the world problems are being caused by markets . The supporters of globalization say that a country can achieve economic growth if it has economic freedom . They argue that economic freedom leads to economic growth which leads to social welfare . The income of the poor is believed to increase with the growth of the economy of a country
The two treatise of government
The two treatises according to Locke is divided in to two i .e . the first treatise and second treatise . The first treatise focuses on the work of Filmer Robert who argued that it is through divinely sanctioned patriarchal that that the civil society was founded . Locke ridiculed the arguments of Filmers as being useless through the scriptures . In this treatise Locke concluded that the divine rights of human rights could not be used as an appeal to justify the government . On the other hand society 's theory is outlined in the second treatise . In this treatise he describes the state of nature . God argues that God created all men equally according to the state of nature . Locke explains human civilization and the rise of property hypothetically .
