The situation is hypocritical due to the sudden change of the animal 's views . While the pigs are living the simple life of relaxation , the other animals are doing slave labor to ensure that humans do not regain control of Animal Farm and ensuring that they do not lose control of their own lives . Like Russian revolutionists and corrupted leaders Napoleon uses dogs to chase and kill Snowball on the day of a vote .
