a leader of industrial revolution and steel industry was predetermined since the very first days of his life

Objectively , there is no definite answer to this question . It is possible to say that on the one hand , nothing could predict Carnegie 's becoming an American industrialist . He was born in Scotland , in a family of a Scottish weaver , and all his childhood was concentrated on the need to help his father with his job . He did not ever think of moving to another city or a country nor did he think a lot about becoming a well-educated personality . With the absence of laws that required children to attend school , Andrew had no other choice but to come down to weaver 's work , seeing himself as a future weaver in his small Scottish community
