In about 20 minutes , the audience was made familiar with the software in a formal speech with the use of visual aids and tools

According to (speaker , Rosetta Stone is a software that teaches basic language skills . In more than 30 languages , students

are taught through the software of basic language skills such as speaking , writing , reading and listening . After signing up a contract with Rosetta Stone , members of the xxxxx community can now access the software free of charge . Where there is Internet connection , users can easily log in by using a username and a password

Because students , faculty and staff alike can use the software for free the speech was addressed to a varied audience , of different ages and belonging to groups of various interests

The Four Main Criteria

The four main criteria used to analyze the speech and the speaker are 1 )Speech organization , 2 )Evidences to Support Speech Content 3 )Communication with the Audience , and 4 )Use of Tools and Visual Aids .Organization

In any speech , whether it be a small group or public speech , it is imperative to prepare the contents of the speech in a logical manner This should be done for the speaker to effectively communicate the message to the speaker . Especially in a formal setting , there is fixed distance between the speaker and the listeners . There is also a time limit so the speaker should be able to maximize the given time to present all relevant points or information in his /her speech

In the speech , the speaker explained what she was going to talk about and for how long it would take . The speaker showed that she definitely prepared for the speech because she did not have to look from her notes for each point she is discussing . Her organization of ideas in the speech helped the audience understand the . It might have also encouraged them to use the software because they understood the basic information and features of the software

Evidences to Support Speech Content

In an informative speech , the speaker 's primary task is to inform his /her audience . Thus , he /she needs to present evidences that are truthful to support the information being presented

The speaker gave a personal testimony when she was still learning to speak Spanish in the past . According to her , it was hard for her to practice Spanish without actually applying it in real life situations From this context , she explained the advantages of Rosetta Stone that has real life example simulation in its new technology .
