Walt Whitman 's prose and poems discuss the idea of social construction and deconstruction . His pieces define and describe the situation of the society in a contemporary pattern seeking for the details of each institution of the nation . By way of showing the weaknesses , strengths progresses , and desire of the society , Whitman pushes his claim to change - a transformation that does not only speak for the current situation of the land but also its manifestation and influence to

the future generation .
