Analysis and Implications for Practice of Quantitative Research Report
Running head : Analysis and implications for practice of quantitative research report Name Course Tutor Date INTRODUCTION Good patient outcomes are one of the major targets of the nursing profession . Several factors affect the patient outcomes . One of them is the nursing turnover . Studies have been done to determine the relationship between the nursing turnover and the patient outcome . The studies have shown that the relationship is positive , that is , the better the nursing turnover the better the patient outcomes . Improving the service delivery to the patient is

one of the key aims of the study This will go a long way into saving the lives of the patients who die due to improper services . Though not stated , the research question is what is the impact of nursing unit turnovers to patient outcomes in hospitals
DISCUSSION
Logical supposition that there is a relationship between the nursing turnovers and the workgroup learning and a further relationship between the workgroup leaning and the patient outcomes is the basis of this study . Therefore , there are two hypotheses in the study . In the determination of the relation between the nursing turnovers and the workgroup learning , nursing turnovers is the independent variable while workgroup learning is the dependent variable . In addition to that , in the second hypothesis , the independent variable is workgroup learning while the patient outcome is the dependent variable
Explanations on the major constituents of the study in the theory , helps to understand the concepts and derived relation between the objects under study . The...
