br April 27 , 2007 Essay Analysis of an Artist Analysis of an Artist I could have created the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci , 1503 /1506 because the creative oil painting style of da Vinci and the Renaissance period is extremely interesting to me The Mona Lisa is incredibly unique because it offers a subtle hint of mystery which motivates curiosity for spectators . da Vinci was entirely intelligent and magical in his painting of the Mona Lisa which brings about many questions concerning his masterpiece The Mona Lisa may have been

painted to mark one of the two events either when Francesco del Giocondo and his wife bought their own house in 1503 , or when their second son , Andrea , was born in December 1502 after the death of a daughter in 1499
We can assume that the Mona Lisa was created for a special occasion that was a gift offered for this celebrated event
We also learn that , The delicate dark veil that covers Mona Lisa 's hair is sometimes considered a mourning veil , in fact , such veils were commonly worn as a mark of virtue . Her clothing is unremarkable . Neither the yellow sleeves of her gown , nor her pleated gown , nor the scarf delicately draped around her shoulders are signs of aristocratic status
It is highly possible that the Mona Lisa was painted by da Vinci , in to offer emotional release by the artist , which adds to the mystery of da Vinci 's painting of the Mona Lisa
Like da Vinci , I would have created my character in a simple style with common articles of clothing , allowing my painting to represent a more basic style of creativity . I can closely associate myself with this style of painting because of the artist 's style and the interesting period in history when it was created
The portrait of the Mona Lisa hangs in Paris in the Louvre Museum and is visited by thousands of people each year , which dasplays how others find this painting just as exciting as I do
The portrait , is so incredibly mysterious that it has been written about and discussed in many books and publications , which reveals that da Vinci was successful at achieving a huge audience of fans
Many people think that the Mona Lisa is a bizarre piece of work that reflects the image of a wealthy socialite , Francesco del Giocondo , Lisa Gherardani . This type of confusion , I find fascinating and I would most likely use the same type of face swapping in one my very own paintings to add serious interest and an ultimate hidden meaning , in my work
I would have used a simple title as Leonardo da Vinci dad in naming the Mona Lisa . The simple title would have demonstrated my simple techniques that would have glistened in my works of art , like the Mona Lisa
