Humans have equal and fair rights . This is true for everyone - young old , male , female , persons without disabilities , or persons with disabilities - NO ONE is exempted to enjoy the equal and fair rights of humans . The Americans with Disabilities Act simply helps us understand and recognize what are in store for persons with disabilities . Their rights may not be clear to everyone , so this Americans with Disabilities Act or ADA would be our guide

by ADA are employment , State and local government activities , public transportation , public accommodations telecommunications relay services , housing , right to vote , education and rehabilitation . In all these areas , persons with disabilities receive equal treatment among their peers . In employment , they receive the benefits a physically-able person received . They are given opportunities to participate in both State and local government facilitated activities . Public transportations have requirements for accessibility . Public accommodations like restaurants , hotels , movie houses must comply to nondiscrimination requirements for persons with disabilities . Telecommunications , Fair Housing , Air Carrier Access Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped , National Voter Registration , Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons , Individuals with Disabilities , Rehabilitation , and Architectural Barriers Acts are other laws that give opportunities to persons with disabilities to enjoy living (A Guide to Disability Rights Law , 2005
