apply to all people without looking at their race , tradition or culture . Some of the America 's Founding fathers include , Thomas Jefferson John Adams , Benjamin Franklin , James Madison , Patrick Henry , Thomas Paine and George Washington . These leaders were very instrumental in signing the America 's Declaration of Independence , as well as in participating in the American Revolution

The Founding fathers proposed democratic principles and practices that would make America a success . However , the founding fathers have been viewed as people who in some cases went against the democratic ideals they themselves had proposed .
