American Culture
Running head : AMERICAN CULTURE American Culture [Name of author] [Institutional information] As it stands today , the American culture is a culture that is also the melting pot of many different cultures . In the past , there were only a majority of blacks and whites inhabiting the major parts of the country But in more recent times , people from Asia , Europe and the other continents continue to flock to America , and some stay there for good In effect , American culture has no longer become a pure culture that is not intruded by

external cultures . On the contrary , the rising population of Latin Americans , Asians and Europeans among many others continues to contribute to the increasing variations in American culture
Nevertheless , there are still certain aspects of the culture in America that can be looked upon and can be said as part of the American culture per se . Two things especially come to mind when American culture is taken into account : one is the home or family setting and two is the office setting . In some cases , pizza ' is also seen as a daily staple among many American families which , in effect , brands the American culture in general as one which is largely reliant on fast food ' which also includes hamburgers and fries
Apart from that , American culture in the context of the family is also portrayed as either broken in the sense that the parents are divorced or badly needs improvement in the sense that the family members do not seem to have a close attachment with one another . Young adults are often depicted as individuals showing carelessness and disrespect for their parents out of their rebellious attitude . On the other hand , marriage divorces have become daily occurrences that it has turned into normal situations among American families . Thus , the American culture in terms of the family is a culture that is necessarily healthy both for the individual and the family as a whole
On the other hand , the American culture in terms of the office setting has been depicted by the cubicle ' phenomenon wherein employees are seen toiling in their work inside square spaces with thin walls that separate them from the rest of the other employees . Moreover , American companies have been hiring people of differing racial backgrounds precisely because it gives them the advantage of harboring...
