Objectivity ethics and The Hindu ethics Abstract In this paper we examine the concepts of objectivist and Hindu ethics An attempt is made to define and describe the ethical concepts of both philosophies . The paper tries to compare and contrast the similarities and differences and concludes by arguing in favour of the Hindu ethics over objectivism What is objective ethics Objectives ethics is based on the premise that reality exists independent of consciousness and morality is primarily based on the pursuit of one 's own happiness . In other words ethics

is based on concepts of rational self-interest . Rand who is the proponent of this philosophy considers ethics to imply the code of values that guide man 's choices and actions which in turn defines man 's purpose and course of life . Objectivist ethics argues that there is only one fundamental alternative existence or non existence . Summarily the objectivist ethics concludes that the pursuit of one 's own happiness is the ultimate good . There should be an element of rational selfishness not giving to others more than is necessary and not asking more than is necessary for one 's self
What is Hindu Ethics
The Hindu ethics is based on the morality of good conducts . It holds such values as doing good to your fellow man , fidelity , honesty , truth purity and a realization that existence is from God .
