Under step family system , children are estranged from their biological parents after a remarriage by either father or mother . The system of step family and remarriage has left many children to divorce from their family and its number growing at a faster

rate . Regarding the remarriage and step family system there are some studies conducted from different parts of the world to know its real status . When we consider the statistics of various studies , divorce take place in the range of 50-60 percent in the first marriages (Degarmo Forgatch , 2002 Jones , 2003 Waite Gallagher , 2000 . Some scholars have observed about the system that woman (mothers ) usually would favor to remarry within 3-5 years after partition and men (fathers ) within 1-2 years of severance (Hughes- 2000 . When a severance is occurred children are left with either father or mother as a second child Aronson (1992 ) opines that the members of stepfamily experiencing many barriers like educational , social and economic factors .
