Nowadays , adolescents are more open-minded and broad thinkers when it comes to every aspect of life . They tend to broaden their notions in life for them to build their own identities . Aspects like alcoholism drugs , sexuality , and violence have played a crucial role in shaping the image of the modern day adolescent . Adolescents in my generation are more empowered due to the rise of cyberspace information that tends to educate adolescents in an unconventional way . They like to intervene over affairs and instill their ideas in it . Affairs which used to be for adults before . They feel that whenever they instill their own notions in every matter which is intended only for adults , they deliberately become adults as well . For adolescents to do this , they overcome every challenge and expectation that they face .
