What is my research interest

The main objective of my Action Research Project is determine if the use of Personal Knowledge Management (PKM ) tools can be utilized without unintentionally increasing complexity of the challenges associated with using personal information efficiently and intelligently . The point is that in this 21st century , computers and related technologies are being applied to every aspect of life and most people have the desire of

br applying these technologies to their lives such that they are an extension of themselves . These individuals want these technologies to as an important tool as pencils the quill pen or the pencil was decades ago . The linking of computer networks and proliferation of the personal computers has increased the amount of produced information and created new avenues from which the information can be found (McCall , Arnold Sutton , 2008 . Personal knowledge Management (PKM ) hence attempts to use computer technology to assist individuals manage the loads of information they might be having in a meaningful way (Henard McFadyen , 2008 . I understand that PKM refers to a system that has been designed by knowledge workers so that it can assist them to use the knowledge they have in the best way possible as they go through their daily activities

I notice that technology in spite of being known to be very effective in the distribution of knowledge , has done very little to enhance the process...
