Education has been described as the key to life whatever we learn in school shapes our personal and professional lives . The courses we pursue in college greatly determine our performance in our future jobs . Our teachers used to stress on the importance of taking our studies seriously as this will be of great help as we pursue our careers in future . The skills learnt in school come in handy while dealing with

different issues that arise in the course of performing our daily duties . In school we were taught on how we are supposed to deal with general issues but when it comes to the real world , one has to apply the same skills to deal with specific issues . In our basic schooling we were taught how to write , speak and even read . Later in life we were imparted more complex knowledge which involved solving complex problems . As one advances in life more skills are taught and gathered further helping an individual to face life courageously (Hopke , W 1967

As a risk compliance manager , what I learnt in school has been very crucial in helping deal with issues that arise in the course of performing my duties . My job involves dealing with domestic and international clients . This calls for a broader understanding of issues so that I can be in a position to solve different problems that may arise from time to time...
