Introduction

HIV /AIDS is an incurable that affects a person 's immune system . The disease is said to have originated in West-central Africa but the first case in the USA was diagnosed in 1981 . Since its discovery , many people have died from the disease and the cases of those infected are increasing as the years pass . HIV /AIDS for this reason has become both nationally and internationally an epidemic and a disaster . The

science of HIV /AIDS has evolved over the years . This means that there has been progress in the development of the antiviral drugs that contain the symptoms so that they do not have adverse effects on the infected people (Huber , 40 ' The disease can be transmitted through blood transfusion sexual intercourse with infected persons , contaminated syringes , and breastfeeding among other things that occur when a person is exposed to the virus

In the United States of America , when the disease emerged people thought that it was a rare disease that would go away but with time this was not the case . Just like other nations are fighting the disease , other U . S has had to deal with the disease which is on the rise . There is a great need to contain the disease that is reducing the human resource capital that enhances the growth of the economy .
