This therefore shows that the government cannot protect the employees when organizations decide to lay-off their workers , since it will be interfering with rights of organizations to pursue their interests . In interfering with the rights of others , the resources will not be allocated efficiently since the market will be affected . The market is believed to work best when people and organizations pursue their goals freely . The resources are considered to be efficiently allocated when the consumers buy products at the minimum price . When making decisions on resource allocation , the consumer is more important than the producer .
