1 .0 INTRODUCTION

Study skills are the points of key issues that any learner has to observe in to get a good result . Some of these points includes the way one takes his or her note - this will enable the learner to be able to understand them or not , the way of reading to increase the understanding of the comprehension and who the learner plans his or her time to minimize the amount of time wasted so as increase the productivity in the studies

the ability of any student to learn and be able to remember what he or she has been taught or read . This can be done in different ways such as note taking , reading comprehension and time management

2 .1 Note Taking

This is the art of writing any piece of information in ones own way it 's normally has no format or we can say it 's informal or unstructured this is normally practiced by the students and even secretaries in any given meeting , and it is done in short hand form which will allow the writer to note down more details in a short time and very quickly . For more effective note taking , the writer should be able to know which method of note taking is more effective depending on what he or she is dealing with .
