Great thirst for a Christian spirituality that is authentic is worth the effort and the pain put in place . This is because in the midst of this quest , signs offering hope , courage , and confidence can be found . This book basically explores spiritual life living that

leads to achieving the life union with God . This basically deals with how we would reach out to our innermost selves , to our fellow human beings and also what we do to reach out to our creator , God

A number of aspects of reaching out are discussed in three movements The first aspect is , from loneliness to solitude . This involves reaching out to our individual selves . Loneliness is the state of being sad unhappy or spending time alone while solitude is being alone , especially when one finds it pleasant to do so . This movement explores the relationship between our spiritual lives and self experiences . This entails the things that people go through in their own lives with respect to various aspects like prayer , faith , love , forgiveness among others in relation to their overall spiritual lives . It is discussed in line with developing Christian spiritual authenticity that would act as a drive for others
